Booking Policies and Consideration
WITH OUR APOLOGIES WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FOR THE MUSIC IN THE PARK 2009 CONCERT SERIES AS WE HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH PERFORMERS TO CHOOSE FROM. PLEASE TRY AGAIN NEXT YEAR.
Before You Submit
Our goal is to have a diverse musical program. We are not looking to make Music in the Park a Jazz Series, a Blues Series, or a Folk Series, etc. Therefore our selections will be from as many genres as possible and not from any one given style of music.
We book a mix of local / area and regional performers. We try to keep this balanced whenever possible, half local / area and half regional.
Please be aware that all selected performers are required to refrain from performing within a ten (10) mile radius of Milford Borough for a period of two (2) weeks prior to their contracted engagement date. Too many times a performer will overplay an area. This almost always results in reduced attendance.
To give more performers an opportunity we have opted to refrain from booking an act in consecutive years. If you played last year you will not be considered for this year. An exception to this is a performer playing with a band one year may be considered as a solo performer for the next year.
